Florence Crittenton has a long history of successful collaborations that result in high quality programs and services designed to meet the growing and ever changing needs of at-risk youth. We are pleased to be collaborating with Southwest Human Development and Casey Family Programs to bring Healthy Families and LIFE outreach programs to our community.

How Can I Help?

Healthy Families
A collaboration between Florence Crittenton and Southwest Human Development, Healthy Families offers support services to expectant families and families who have babies under three months old. Participant families may continue to receive services through the first five years of their child’s life.

Many of the families in this program are facing pressures such as poverty, single parenthood and unemployment. Through home visits, case managers focus on involving fathers in parenting, making family wellness a priority, and preventing situations that can lead to child abuse and neglect.

The program’s goal is to deliver much-needed parenting and child development education so these fragile families can make healthier choices and ultimately achieve self-sufficiency.

LIFE
Living Independently for Everyone (LIFE) is provided in collaboration with Casey Family Programs.

Through LIFE, our agencies work together to provide enhanced independent living skills services including training, workshops, advocacy, and support in the areas of education, life skills and employment.

This valuable outreach program has three key goals:

    1. Promote the ability of young people to live and work as productive and responsible         members of their communities.
    2. Increase youth employability.
    3. Enhance youth progress toward reaching educational goals.
