With the addition of Girls Ranch to our continuum of care, Florence Crittenton expanded and enhanced programs and services for pregnant and/or parenting girls ages 12-18, who are in need of independent living, parenting and/or childcare skills training.

Girls Ranch clients live in a home environment with private parenting suites and shared common areas for play, interaction and group classes. In this safe place girls develop their day-to-day living and parenting skills, and share in the responsibilities of planning and preparing meals, running a home, and caring for others.

The girls are treated with great respect and they learn to treat themselves and others with respect. This highly successful program specializes in mother-child reunification and in giving vulnerable young moms the life skills and parenting tools they need to create a healthy, successful future for themselves and their babies.

Additionally, while at Girls Ranch, clients continue their education through on-site classes provided by Crittenton Youth Academy, Florence Crittenton’s accredited charter school.
