While in residence on our campus, Florence Crittenton girls are provided top-quality on-site medical services.

Medical Services Include:

• An adolescent health center provided by St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center
• Full-time nursing staff
• Assessment and psychiatric medication monitoring services provided by a licensed psychiatrist
• Health and Wellness programming

The Health and Wellness component is an innovative approach to health education for girls in Florence Crittenton’s Residential Group Home. It encompasses physical health, as well as mental and spiritual well-being. The goal is to reduce health related risk behaviors in each girl by instilling self-esteem through physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. The program is designed to compliment and enhance on-site medical services.

…During the past three years, we have been providing a wellness continuum of care at Florence Crittenton. This health and wellness clinic continues to evolve into a model and best practice for adolescent pediatric health, multi-centric health care delivery, and an integrated fitness and wellness program. Many of the young women we have cared for in this clinic would not have received this type of comprehensive care if we were not working together to meet their needs. The intent of this program is for the Florence Crittenton participants to value their health and well-being for years to come. These are our leaders of tomorrow.
